The Moral Manifesto

As part of a critical contextual studies module in college, I was tasked to research and create my own design manifesto. This project encouraged me to question who I was as a designer and what my morals are.

Outcome

For the purpose of this project, I researched other design manifestos and questioned what a manifesto was. This led me to define what it meant to me. This project opened up my eyes to the importance of design manifesto’s as a code of conduct for designers.

This project outlines my philosophy as a designer.

It acts as a check list of questions to ask myself regularly to ensure that I am being the best designer I can be from a moral perspective.

It highlights my core principles which are usability, creativity and ethics.
